At the time of launch of the 4007 Peugeot had a bit of problem to convince people that it could produce cars of sizes of types not present until then in the manufacturer’s offer. As a matter of fact, the used Peugeot 4007 is a child of strong collaboration of Mitsubishi, Citroen and Peugeot. And although the market roll-out was somehow difficult, this sports utility vehicle managed to win crowds. The used Peugeot 4007 came with several types of engines to choose from so for instance it has a 2.4-litre petrol engine by Citroen and Mitsubishi or a 2.2-ltre HDI power plant by Citroen and Peugeot. The exterior has nice and eye-catching styling and a sort of bold look. The car interior presents a lot of functionality and innovation. There is a flexible seating configuration of five-plus-two which can used either for creating highly comfortable seating or maximizing the boot to a vast space of 1,686 litres. The equipment levels are high. Automatic air conditioning with climate control, a radio and CD player with MP3 compatibility and a trip computer are all in place. Safety is also treated seriously with ABS, six airbags, ESP set-ups and an ultrasonic alarm. The road performance is just stunning and engines, HDi units especially, do an admirable job. Both fuel economy and carbon dioxide emissions are fair enough to say that the used Peugeot 4007 presents a good value-for-money ratio and are a decent used buy.
